I’m gonna be honest. Not seeing through wokeness and the ideological haze and frenzy so many people were and are in is a huge clue if the person your talking to is reasonable. Or at least for now. They may change. We can disagree politically or in society without hating each other. Or at least we should be able to. Left and right are used to control people. The two party system is way to pit the people against each other. If you support "your side" no matter what you aren't a freethinker your a follower. You should be pro-humanity and want a better place for us to live both in terms of more freedom and less violence. Having a political side that you blindly follow is stupid. I want a better world for humans everywhere. Lets not forget we are human beings including the people in ideologies and political cults of personality. We can reach people even who seem to far gone. And some people have awakened to various degrees to the hateful cancel mobs of wokeness. Many people managed to find their way of those black and white ways of viewing the world and people who disagreed with them.
Too many people choose to blindly agree with their 'side' because that's what they think they should believe, not because they have properly thought through what they truly believe.
